Are you looking for an opportunity to try out new cookbooks? Do you want to discover new and exciting recipes? Then join the Cookbook Club at Mockingbird Library. Each month attendees of this Adults Only club will cook a recipe based on a given theme and share with the group. This group is great for experimenting with different cuisines, trying out new recipes, finding a new favorite cookbook, and meeting new friends.
How it works:
Find out the theme and select a cookbook from the library to use for your dish.
Make the recipe and bring it (and a serving utensil) and the cookbook to the Cookbook Club meeting to share. Try out the other food and take a look at the other cookbooks. Have fun!
Share about the cookbook and the recipe you used.
Find out the theme for the next month and repeat!
The theme for our July 12th meeting is: Spain/Mexico/Brazil/Argentina. Bring a dish that is from Spain, Mexico, Brazil or Argentina. You can use a cookbook from the library, or use a recipe from our new food and recipe databases. Registration is required and all attendees must bring a dish to share.
